When I was little I thought flower, when picked, won’t be able to survive forever. So I tried to find a way to prolong a dying blossom. But when I did, the spring time died with it. The colors faded and the vibrance withered and it was gone.

The beauty remained, in its lying petals was the imprint of its soul when the core hath not been but dead.

After all its life had drained, the fine prowess of a pretty little flower stayed intact for one to appreciate. And now its been a year or two for these flowers that hold every bit of sentimentality that I’ll cherish for a long time.

[Growing Collection of Novelettish Predilection by Ishiee]

I have a knack of collecting things that holds a dear connection with me and I don’t think that’s weird at all. One of ‘em were collecting flowers or even leaves. But I know I’m not alone in this, I know others are collecting ticket stubs (me too) or anything and I think it’s just cool to have some memory sticked on a pretty notebook along the journey of finding more things to add above a long written caption over a reminiscent cup of coffee.

So what’s your sentimental collection?
